Inter Milan boss Conte accepts Juventus gap

Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte accepts there's a gap between themselves and Serie A leaders Juventus.

Inter were beaten by Juve before the international break.

Conte said, “I don't think there's any harm in dreaming, which is true for every fan, player and Coach. You have to then be objective and see what reality has in store for us.

“There is a gap and it's a difficult one to bridge, as I arrived with two clubs (Juventus and Napoli) who have been building together for years.

“We have just started our journey, so with hard work and clarity can improve to become competitive and make our fans proud of us. We need a clear mission for the present and what the future can become.

“You can only become protagonists with hard work. We mustn't set limits for ourselves, but at the same time be honest and realistic. That doesn't mean this Inter won't challenge in this Serie A season."
