Inter Milan attacker Barella delighted being part of Italy rout

Inter Milan attacker Nicolo Barella was delighted to be part of Italy's 9-1 Euros qualifying defeat of Armenia.

It marked the final game of their qualifying campaign - leaving them a 100 per cent record.

"I am happy for the goal, but above all for my teammates, especially those who made their debuts this evening. We're a great group and are enjoying ourselves," the Barella told Rai Sport.

“The fans are showing us so much affection and that was the most difficult thing to get after last year. We are gaining experience on an international level too and that is all very valuable for the younger players like me.

“We are younger than many of the big sides like Spain, Germany and England, but we also probably go in with less pressure on our heads and hope to use that attitude to enjoy our tournament."
