Inter Milan are edging closer to signing permanently Manchester United striker Alexis Sanchez.
Gazzetta dello Sport says all three parties involved are working on a deal which will see Alexis sign outright with the Nerazzurri.
Inter are prepared to hand Alexis a three-year contract, with the deal dependent on United's stand over how to cover his wages. Alexis is willing to take a cut on his current £550,000-a-week contract, but Inter will still require United to help part-fund his salary.
In terms of a fee, United have cut their price from €20m to €15m for Inter to buy him outright.
However for Alexis, the big positive is that Inter are now serious about keeping him long-term.
