Wesley Sneijder has declared he wants to play out his career with Inter Milan.
Sneijder's family has been urging the midfielder to consider a move to Manchester United.
But he declared last night: "I'd like to end my career at Inter because I am happy here. I have some exceptional friends and together we've won everything. Why should I leave?
"I remember joining Inter on Thursday and after a few hours I played the derby: a fantastic 4-0 win and from there I knew we were a team of great quality. Especially strong in defence.
"I never really thought I could win it all in the first year, but we did and now I just want to keep winning trophies for this club."
