Inter Miami owner David Beckham is planning an offer for PSG star Lionel Messi.

El Chiringuito reports Beckham is preparing to make a move for Messi, whom he wants to sign for Inter Miami once his contract expires in June 2023.

It will not be easy for Beckham, as PSG want to extend Messi's contract. Luis Campos, sporting director of the Parisian club, has shown his intentions on several occasions to try to achieve that desired renewal. A return to Barcelona has also been mooted.

However, it will not happen soon because Messi prefers to wait until after the World Cup to decide what to do with his future. Beckham is desperate to sign a star, and Messi is his top target, but he would also be keen on taking Cristiano Ronaldo amid his controversial situation at Manchester United.

It would be a huge coup for MLS and Inter Miami if he gets either of those signings. Beckham will try to use his time in Qatar to try to do some business to improve Inter Miami.
