Inter Milan are not in the market for, or are preparing a £40million bid for, Tottenham's Gareth Bale. Having been on the receiving end of two stand-out performances from Bale in the Champions League group stage this season, Inter are fully aware of what the 21-year-old is capable of.
Spurs, though, have always maintained that Bale is not for sale at any price.
However, to ease the nerves in North London the Italian giants insist they have no plans to test Harry Redknapp's resolve.
On the speculation, Inter chief executive Ernesto Paolillo said: "It is incorrect. It's not true."
