Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson remains keen on Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder.
The Mail on Sunday says Sneijder and Tottenham's Luka Modric are still in his sights.
Ferguson has already spent £50m on winger Ashley Young, defender Phil Jones and goalkeeper David de Gea as he rebuilds his title-winning team.
