Despite the market closing on Monday, Zidane remains determined to bring his fellow Frenchman to Madrid - even as early as January.
That's according to Okdiario's pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito.
Inda revealed: "Zidane and several members of the dressing room have asked the board to make an effort and bring Pogba.
"In 2020, Pogba is virtually free ... next year he will have one year left and he would cost half of what he costs now.
"In the winter market, United could sell him and get a good amount.
"Several players in the squad have told the president (Florentino Perez) that without Neymar and Pogba they will be very average."
