That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, while talking on El Chiringuito.
Inda revealed: "Luis Suarez arrived at Barça and said there was a huge player at Peñarol.
"He told the board and the coaching staff and they laughed at him. He said he was going to be the best Uruguayan player and they ignored him.
"Another team arrived, they took him and they saw the mistakes he had made. I mean Fede Valverde."
It's also claimed Suarez recommended Maxi Gomez, now with Valencia, to Barca before he moved to Spain.
