Real Madrid teammates have failed to be convinced by Vinicius Junior.

The Brazilian attacker has battled to meet expectations at Real over the past year.

El Chiringuito's Edu Aguirre says while Vinicius is well liked inside the dressing room, there is a belief the hype around the player has been overblown.

Aguirre said, "That the Ballon d'Or has been talked about is a matter for the press.

"They consider him a great player, but a large part of the dressing room does not believe that he will be a world-class player.

"He is not Neymar, he is not Messi, he is not Mbappé..."
