Real Madrid president Florentino Perez intends to splash out mega money this January on at least one major signing.
Three defeats in the last four games has convinced Florentino he needs to make a Galacticos signing to lift the squad and the support.
Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito de Jugones, revealed: "Real Madrid is going to go for (Eden) Hazard or (Mauro) Icardi.
"The Argentine is better than (Karim) Benzema."
Florentino made an attempt to sign Inter Milan captain Icardi last January, only to be blocked by former coach Zinedine Zidane.
Inda, meanwhile, also revealed Real had a €170m bid for Hazard turned down by Chelsea last summer.
