Real Madrid find funds for Mbappe and new stadium

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has found the funds to sign PSG striker Kylian Mbappe - and also contribute to the new stadium.

That's according to Ok Diario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito.

Inda, who founded Ok Diario after leaving El Mundo, has reported Real Madrid have reached a merchandising agreement with the Legends distribution company. And the money involved in the deal will go some way to funding the club's new stadium plans and also their move for Mbappe.

Quoted by Ok Diario, Inda stated: "Real Madrid signed an agreement with one of the largest entertainment development companies in the world, which includes the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, City, Barcelona, Atlético ... It will be in charge of merchandising for Madrid, for the hospitality industry of the new stadium.

"They are going to provide an amount of 400 million (euros) - and half will be invested half in the stadium and the other half in the signing bonus of Kylian Mbappé."

The contract signed between the two companies will include a new official online store, the reopening of three official stores in Madrid and a new flagship store in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

Should the deal be confirmed, it will mark a huge boost for Florentino and Real Madrid's board. Real are one of only three LaLiga clubs to reject the CVC Capital cash injection agreement organised by LaLiga.
