Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is maintaining regular contact with PSG star Kylian Mbappe.

It's emerged in France over the last 24 hours that Manchester City are prepared to compete with Real for the France World Cup winner.

However, Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito, has revealed Zidane is playing his part in Real's pursuit of Mbappe.

"Zidane talks with Mbappe, with the player himself and with his father every so often," Inda said.

"He does not want the signing to be messed up in the face of this summer or the next."

Mbappe is tied to PSG until 2022 and it's been suggested Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to go beyond a world record €300m to bring him to Spain this coming summer.
