INSIDER: PSG agreed to take Salah from Liverpool as Mbappe replacement

PSG were ready to sign Mohamed Salah from Liverpool last summer, it has been revealed.

With Kylian Mbappe angling to leave PSG at the time for Real Madrid, the club's owners had put a deal in place for Salah to arrive as a direct replacement.

That's according to Le Parisien's Dominique Séverac, who was speaking on L'Equipe du Soir: "If Kylian Mbappé left, whatever the date, everything was ready with Mohammed Salah from Liverpool.

"They activated the plan.

"They (PSG) were ready to put up the money: €80m or €100m and everything was ready with Mohamed Salah."
