Newcastle in contact for Real Madrid attacker Hazard

Newcastle United are keen to bring Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard back to England.

That's according to Ok Diario's football chief Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito. Inda reports Real Madrid management are keen to offload Hazard after becoming fed-up with his injury problems.

Quoted by Ok Diario, Inda said: "I already said that (coach Carlo) Ancelotti does not love Hazard and is fed up with the player. The board also because he has been a (Arjen) Robben or (Gareth) Bale, who is more injured than ready to play."

Inda, who founded Ok Diario after leaving El Mundo, revealed Hazard could yet be on the move in January.

In addition, Inda added of former Chelsea captain Hazard's possible destination: “There is a team that wants him for their relaxed project and it is Newcastle. I do not rule out that he will leave in January to Newcastle or wherever. He is never fit to play and his salary is tremendous."

The new owners at Newcastle are in the market for new talent as they seek to climb away from the relegation zone.

Hazard is currently fully fit at Real Madrid, though is well down the pecking order at Real Madrid under coach Carlo Ancelotti. Three years in since his move from Chelsea, so far this season, Hazard has made eight appearances producing one assist.
