Mbappe and Real Madrid make call on PSG 'silence'

Paris Saint Germain star Kylian Mbappe is ready to go silent on his hopes of joining Real Madrid.

Mbappe comes off contract in June and is eager to join Real Madrid at the end of the season. However, the striker has decided to stop talk openly about the prospect.

That's according to Ok Diario's chief football pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito. Inda is the founder of Ok Diario, having launched the outlet after leaving El Mundo. It is now among the most popular news outlets in Spain.

Quoted by Ok Diario, Inda revealed: "He has made the decision not to talk more about Madrid for the remainder of the season to avoid messes with the fans.

"He is going to play for Real Madrid, yes he is. Madrid would be happy with that tactic. I think he is going to sign on January 1 and his goal is to win the Champions League and for that they need social peace at PSG and not be constantly whistled.

"Spanish PSG players tell me that the whistles are not spontaneous."

Indeed, the key motivation behind Mbappe's decision is so there are no distractions as Paris Saint Germain hunt down this season's Champions League title. With Lionel Messi and Neymar also in attack, the Parisians are regarded among the favourites.
