INSIDER: Man Utd pair Solskjaer and Pogba have spoken to Dembele

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken directly with Ousmane Dembele about leaving Barcelona before tonight's deadline,

That's according to Sport's Albert Masnou, who admits Barca's move for Lyon attacker Memphis Depay is a factor in the deal.

He told Bein Sport: “For the moment, Ousmane Dembélé is still a Barça player. And there is no news that he'll will change. There have been negotiations between Manchester United and Barca, and there have also been contacts with the player.

"Paul Pogba and Solskjaer called him to convince him to go to England. Ousmane didn't say no, but only said he didn't want to be loaned out. He only wanted to go after a transfer. And at that time nothing happened because Manchester United would also work with the possibility of bringing in Jadon Sancho.

"We will see if tomorrow there will be something, tonight there may be something, because one thing is certain: if Ousmane does not leave and they do not sell, there will be neither Lautaro nor Depay."
