Manchester United believe they're days away from signing Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho.
That's according to Norwegian journalist Fredrik Flitvedt, who says United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could have Sancho available for their first game of the new Premier League season against Crystal Palace.
Dortmund have been quite clear throughout that they will not negotiate a lower figure and £108million must be paid in full this summer.
But Solskjaer remains confident that a deal can be done and United are even planning to get it over the line in time to use Sancho against Palace on September 19.
Flitvedt tweeted: "Solskjaer should be frustrated that things take time, but United feel increasingly confident that they can reach an agreement with Dortmund on Sancho. United have ambitions that he is ready for the Palace match."
United's Premier League campaign was set to get underway this weekend at Burnley but they were granted an extra week off to prepare following their Europa League campaign last season, which ran right into August.
