INSIDER: Man Utd boss Mourinho called Bale - 'I'll make you Ballon d'Or'

Jose Mourinho has spoken directly to Real Madrid star Gareth Bale about moving to Manchester United this summer, it has been revealed.

The United manager is urging Bale to quit Real for United where he will be given every opportunity to win the Ballon d'Or.

Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito de Jugones, revealed United were proving stubborn in talks over David de Gea.

"We said in Okdiario that Real Madrid had asked about his situation," confirmed Inda. "I see it difficult for the owners of United to release him."

He continued: "Mou has given an argument to Bale, who loves him. Mourinho said: 'Gareth, with us, with me, you will be once and for all the Ballon d'Or.

"That is what Mou to Bale has transmitted to him.

"Some people around Florentino (Perez) asked him to leave, but seeing what was seen in the final in Kiev, they guessed right. If (Zinedine) Zidane had continued, the chances of leaving Bale would have been much greater. Mr. Pérez wants the Welshman to continue."
