Liverpool have made RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner a bumper long-term contract offer, it has emerged.
The Germany international has made it no secret he wishes to play for Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool in the future.
Gazzetta dello Sport's Nicolo Schira reports Liverpool have stepped up talks for Werner in recent days.
He took to social media to post: "Liverpool are in advanced talks with Timo Werner.
"The German striker is the first choice of Jurgen Klopp. The Reds have offered to him a 5-year contract with a wages of €10m (bonuses inclused) and are working to reach an agreement with Leipzig."
