Liverpool remain in serious contact with Lille star Nicolas Pepe.
The Reds are said to have met Lille's asking price for the Ivorian in recent days, though a deal has been threatened by Bayern Munich's intervention.
However, RMC's chief pundit Mohamed Bouhafsi says it could yet happen.
He posted to social media: "Liverpool is well placed but ... Liverpool and Bayern Munich negotiate with Lille and the player. It is not advanced at the moment because the player wants to think a little more. A very important 3rd club will position itself quickly."
