Liverpool seriously considered a move for Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Marcus Thuram this summer, it has been revealed.
Liverpool, in the market for an attacking signing, expressed interest in Thuram before splashing out €45m to sign Diogo Jota from Wolves.
That's according to Alain Valnegri, a journalist with Movistar+, who has reported Liverpool seriously considered France international Thuram.
Fiorentina also were keen before the market shut earlier this month.
Thuram struck last night in Gladbach's 2-2 draw with Champions League opponents Real Madrid.
