Former Barcelona president Joan Laporta is ready to stand for the club's next elections.
That's according to Okdiario's chief football correspondent Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito.
He declared, "There are two people who have already been presidents who are thinking of being so again and one is very advanced, he will take the step sooner rather than later.
"They are Joan Laporta and the other is Sandro Rosell, who would be the continuous bet of Josep María Bartomeu."
Inda added: "Laporta wants to appear with Xavi Hernández by the hand - and Xavi's dream is to go with Pep Guardiola as sporting director and (Carles) Puyol as the great world ambassador of the club."
