Chelsea have launched an offer for Lille striker Victor Osimhen, it has been revealed.

The Nigeria international is expected to be cashed in by LOSC this summer after a superb first season in Ligue 1.

Osimhen's form has drawn attention from across Europe and Telefoot's Abdellah Boulma has revealed an offer from Chelsea has arrived for the striker.

Boulma claims Chelsea have bid for Osimhen, though is not the "€85m" some reports have claimed. It comes just a week after Lille president Gerard Lopez claimed a €75m offer had arrived from an unnamed suitor.

Boulma wrote on social media: "The leaders of LOSC would have received an offer from Chelsea for the Nigerian international Osimhen.

"But the amount advanced of €85m is erroneous and greatly overestimated."
