INSIDER: Bayern Munich won't compete for Man Utd, Liverpool target Pepe

A move to England is firming for Lille star Nicolas Pepe.

Bayern Munich had been regarded ahead of the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United in the race for the Ivorian.

Journalist Christian Falk, who covers Bayern for Bild insists the Bundesliga champions are no longer interested.

Manchester City star Leroy Sane remains their top target and Falk believes they will do all they can to bring him back to the Bundesliga.

“Pepe – they scouted him a lot of times, I know that the board had said no to a transfer because he's not the quality of Bayern Munich, but if they don't get any winger, perhaps they have to rethink Pepe. But I would say no," he told Get German Football News.
