Bayern Munich defender David Alaba wants to run down his contract and join Real Madrid next summer.

That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito.

With his current deal due to expire in June, it was announced this week that Bayern had withdrawn their latest contract offer made to Alaba.

Inda revealed: "Alaba is a versatile player that Real Madrid has followed for a long time.

"He can play central, midfielder, winger ... He is 28 years old and it is true that he earns €8m net and wants to earn more, but he would go free to the Merengues club."
