Athletic Bilbao coach Marcelino is under consideration at Barcelona to replace Ronald Koeman.

That's according to Okdiario's chief football pundit Eduardo Inda, while speaking on El Chiringuito.

"Candidate A is Xavi Hernández, but there is someone covered. It would be for next season because he has a current contract with his current club," Inda declared.

"The cover is Marcelino García Toral, the current Athletic Club coach."

Marcelino attracted an approach from Tottenham over the summer before commmitting to Athletic for this season.
