INSIDER: Arsenal keen as Zakaria wage demands revealed

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria's personal demands fall within Arsenal's wage ceiling.

The wage demands of Arsenal midfield target Zakaria - who looks set to leave Borussia Monchengladbach on a free transfer at the end of the season - have been revealed.

German reporter Christian Falk revealed that the Gunners were interested in Zakaria, with the Swiss powerhouse's preference a move to England over Bayern Munich or a switch to Serie A.

The Sun claim that the 24-year-old is demanding a salary of £80,000-a-week at his next club, a wage that the Gunners could well afford.

Zakaria has been one of the Bundesliga 's standout midfielders since arriving from Young Boys in 2017, going on to feature 136 times for Die Fohlen.
