Ancelotti wants Bale at Real Madrid - and two more

New Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti wants to work with Gareth Bale next season.

The pair won the Champions League at Real Madrid in 2014 and Ancelotti is eager to count on the Wales captain again, despite his year away on-loan with Tottenham.

That's according to Okdiario's chief football pundit Eduardo Inda, while speaking on El Chiringuito.

"Bale is not going to retire although he likes to play golf more than football and Ancelotti wants him at Real Madrid," Inda confirmed, quoted by Okdiario.

"He also wants another player, who is exemplary and this is Marco Asensio. He has asked for both of them."

Bale has a year left on his Real Madrid contract and as Inda touched on, there has been speculation that he could hang up the boots after the Euros.

Meanwhile, Inda also says Ancelotti is willing to work with Isco next season. The Spain international strugged for action under former coach Zinedine Zidane last term. But he is known to Ancelotti, who is eager to work with the midfield schemer again.

Inda added: "Isco? He never disliked him, and this man is like (Vicente) Del Bosque, who recovers players and works miracles."

Isco, now 29, has just over a year to run on his contract and managed 29 appearances with Real Madrid under Zidane last season.
