Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been ruled out of England's games against Scotland and France.
The 30-year old suffered a thigh injury whilst training with the Three Lions.
Vardy had been in line to receive his 17th cap for England, an unbelievable feat given his humble non-league roots.
Manager Gareth Southgate has decided not to call on a replacement for Vardy.
The former Under 21 boss will choose from Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford and Jermain Defoe to play in attack.
