Serious injuries to striker Michael Owen and midfielder Joey Barton have added more misery to the Newcastle camp.
After the 2-1 defeat at Man City, Kinnear confirmed the bad injury news.
"It is one thing after another at the moment. The doctor had said six to eight weeks with Michael and 10 for Joey," he said.
