Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is being linked with a move to Japan.

Off contract in June, Cesc's future at Chelsea is in serious doubt due to their contract policy.

The midfielder is seeking a long-term deal, while Chelsea are insisting on a rolling one-year arrangement given he is now 31 years of age.

Meanwhile, Calciomercato.com says Cesc's former Spain and Barcelona teammates David Villa and Andres Iniesta are in contact about joining them at Vissel Kobe.

Villa signed for the J-League outfit, following Iniesta who joined at the end of last season.

And first indications are that Cesc is open to the idea of continuing his career in Japan next year.
