Indonesia reschedule Asian Cup program

The Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) have restructured their qualification preparation for the 2011 Asian Cup.

PSSI have cancelled a series of friendly matches and have rescheduled their training camp in a bid to qualify for the tournament which will be held in Qatar in January 2011.

Home matches against Malaysia, China and Syria have been pulled as has their friendly in Saudi Arabia whilst the training camp has been moved from early August to late September.

Head of the National Team Body, Rahim Soekasah said players who do not join the amended camp will be punished.

"Players who got called up will not be allowed to play for their clubs as we will hold a training camp until November," he told the Jakarta Globe.

"There will be no bargaining. Players have the right to refuse to join the camp, but if they do, we will leave the matter to the PSSI."
