Premier League Soccer officials are confident Hernan Crespo will take part in the Indian extravaganza.

Crespo cast doubt on playing in the newly-formed comp when announcing his departure from Parma last week.

But Bhaswar Goswami, CEO of CMG, insisted: "When we came to know of Crespo's dilemma, we immediately contacted Gabriel (Crespo's agent). He assured us of Crespo's availability.

"He has already signed a memorandum with us which says that he will play in PLS. We have applied for his transfer certificate and it will reach us within a few days," Goswami added.
