Bayern Munich defender David Alaba has revealed that incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is obsessed with football.

There is a lot of excitement in England surrounding the arrival of Guardiola to City this coming summer and many believe that the Spaniard will be able to bring about a revolution at the Etihad Stadium.

Bayern's Alaba has now given an insight to Guardiola's mentality and has revealed that the former Barcelona manager has 'reinvented football' and thinks about the game non-stop.

Alaba said: "His training sessions are incredible workouts.

"He has reinvented football. With him, we have played better and better every year.

"Pep is someone who thinks about football 24 hours a day. I never knew that I could play in so many positions as well."
