Former Manchester United captain Paul Ince says Romelu Lukaku shouldn't be given a start in the derby against Manchester City this weekend.
Lukaku was dropped for the win over Everton last month and has missed United's last two games with a muscle injury, and Ince told Paddy Power he should not be recalled to the side even if he's fit again.
“The results are plain to see. Alexis Sanchez was much improved against Juventus on Wednesday and it's no coincidence that there was no Lukaku present.
“And in general, when he hasn't played, United look like a much better team."
Lukaku missed United's 2-1 win at Bournemouth last weekend, as well as the dramatic Champions League victory at Juventus on Wednesday.
