Paul Ince and Alan Curbishley have indicated their interest in the vacant managerial post at West Bromwich Albion.
The departure of Tony Mowbray to Celtic has left the position at the Hawthorns open and the duo have emerged as possible replacements.
Former Blackburn boss Ince confirmed his interest in the Express and Star.
"Without doubt I'd be interested," he said.
"Myself and Tony Mowbray have the same philosophy on football. The fans are fantastic.
"The sooner I can get back into the Premier League, the better. It it's with an ambitious Championship club that wants to move forward that would be great."
