Cesc Fabregas is determined to stay at Chelsea and toil hard for his position in the first XI.
A report in The Sun suggests that the Spanish midfielder is happy at Stamford Bridge and is keen to remain a Blues player so will do everything in his power to prove himself to manager Antonio Conte.
Fabregas, 29, has been left in limbo after sitting on the bench for Monday night's Premier League win over West Ham United, prompting speculation that he could be on the way out of West London before the close of the summer transfer window.
Real Madrid and Juventus have been linked with the former Arsenal and Barcelona star but a source close to the player say a Chelsea stay is on the cards.
"Cesc knows it is a fiercely competitive industry and is happy to stay and fight," the source told The Sun.
"He was happy that the team won on Monday."
