Zlatan Ibrahimovic clashed with fans after LA Galaxy side lost 5-3 to rivals LAFC in the Western Conference semi-finals.
Ibrahimovic grabbed his crotch in response to a LAFC fan's overzealous gloating.
There is some uncertainty over his future both as an LA Galaxy player and as a professional overall at the age of 38, says the Daily Mail.
As he walked from the pitch following his team's exit against their rivals, the former Manchester United striker spotted one LAFC supporter taking his celebration to the next level.
Slowing down his exit, the Swedish striker turned to face the fan and grabbed his crotch, before smiling and being ushered down the tunnel by officials.
One LAFC staff member also appeared to attempt to confront Ibrahimovic after the gesture, but he was pushed away by a member of the Galaxy coaching staff.
