Ibrahimovic: Man Utd players must understand Mourinho demands

LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has spoken of his relationship with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

The pair were together for 18 months before Ibrahimovic left for LA.

Mourinho described the Swedish talisman as an extension of his right arm and Ibrahimovic said on the BBC's Football Daily: “I think he means the mentality and the discipline I bring to the locker room.

“The way you train is the way you play your game. There is no relaxing in training.

“There is no 100 per cent in training, and that is who Jose Mourinho is.

“He wants that. He wants from you, not 100 per cent but 200 per cent.

“Worst case scenario, you should stand there and still give 200 per cent.

“If you have a little bit of pain in your leg you don't feel that when you go on the field.

“That is the mentality he brings and what I believe in also and what I bring.

“That is why I was his extended arm, making it longer than he could in the locker room among the players."
