Zlatan Ibrahimovic is backing AC Milan teammate Olivier Giroud to prove himself the best player at the World Cup.

Giroud is already off the mark for France in their World Cup win against Australia.

Ibrahimovic told 433: "Who will be the best player? Olivier Giroud.

"Who will be the best striker? Olivier Giroud. Who will surprise us? I'm supporting my friend Olivier Giroud.

"Who will be the biggest talent in the tournament? Olivier Giroud because he's still young, and if I say he's young, so am I."
