Stoke City defender Ibrahima Sonko is confident they won't 'do a Reading' and suffer relegation this season.
Sonko went down last term with the Royals and told The Sentinel: "It wasn't complacency at Reading because we never felt we were safe. We knew from the season before that we needed about 45 points to be certain of being safe.
"I think to be absolutely safe, you do need that many points and that is why I say we could do with another three wins here at Stoke.
"That would really put relegation out of the frame."
Sonko added: "The crowd have been superb for us this season and if they keep backing us like they have, we will keep our run going and prove everybody wrong who said that we would be relegated.
"We know we have 28,000 or whatever believing in us at home and we have shown we can do it.
"Now we need to use our home advantage against Blackburn because this is another big game."
