Vicente Iborra believes Harry Maguire could have a transformative affect on Manchester City in a similar fashion to Virgil van Dijk at Liverpool.

The Leicester City defender is one of Pep Guardiola's only transfer targets this summer.

And former Foxes midfielder Iborra thinks Maguire will be a star at the Etihad.

The Villarreal man told Radio Marca: “(Maguire) is an incredible player. He is very strong, with good balance, he is great at bringing the ball out and also scores goals.

“He had a great World Cup and he is a fantastic footballer. His transfer to Man City can be at the level of van Dijk to Liverpool."
