UD Ibiza's Copa del Rey glamour tie with Barcelona will be a special moment for coach Pablo Alfaro.

Alfaro is a former Barca player and also an ex-teammate of new Blaugrana coach Quique Setien.

He told Mundo Deportivo: "Yes, we were teammates for three years (at Racing Santander) and I really appreciate him. Surely we will have some time to talk after the game. I wish him well, but not for Wednesday.

"With Quique, you can say that usually in Barça the coach's past linked to the club weighs a lot, but it is his moment and he is enjoying it, so it will be the results, like everyone else, which end up judging him."

On Ernesto Valverde's dismissal, Alfaro added: "The truth is that I found it strange. Valverde is a top coach, who has won titles and has never created any problems, on the contrary. It is not usual to change the coach being where the team is."
