Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is unconcerned regarding Ryan Giggs' opinion of former teammate Paul Scholes.
United have been terrible at times this season and club legend Scholes has not shied away from slamming the Red Devils' boring style of play over the course of the campaign.
Due to constant jibes from Scholes, it had been suspected there is an awkwardness created between manager van Gaal and assistant Giggs – who is a close friend of the former England international.
However, van Gaal has now gone on to refute such claims and has insisted that Scholes' views does not affect his relationship with Giggs.
Van Gaal said: "That is what I want also so there is no difference there.
"If you want to know his feeling about what Scholes is saying you have to ask him. He doesn't discuss it with me.
"He has a lot of influence in our decisions because I communicate every decision with my staff so he can have a big influence.
"I work in a fantastic way with Ryan so that's the only thing I can say."
