Alan Hutton is still pinching himself over the way he's turned things around at Aston Villa.
The fullback is now a first-choice for manager Paul Lambert after two years in the wilderness.
"Anybody in that position would find it hard. But throughout that time I did have several chats with him and they were positive.
"I knew the situation at the club, where they were and what they were trying to do, and I had been told from the word go.
"It wasn't as though anyone was lying to me. I just had to deal with it. But to end up with a new contract and back playing, I'm delighted."
