Former Liverpool midfielder Don Hutchison has taken aim at Trent Alexander-Arnold for his role in Sunday's 4-1 home thrashing by Manchester City.
Hutchison insists Alexander-Arnold was not learning from his mistakes in the defeat at Anfield.
He told Premier League Productions: “Poor defending from Trent in the first place, he shanks his clearance.
“And again, he's not learnt, Trent.
“Why hasn't he learnt? But why hasn't he learnt?! This is what we are talking about high-level football.
“The three Red shirts have more or less stopped because they are probably going 'why on earth has Trent sent them there for on his right foot?' Identical to the penalty."
