Steve Hunt is set to sign a new contract with Reading.

The Irish midfielder has agreed a three-year deal which will double his money to £15,000 a week.

Bolton, Sunderland and West Ham were all eyeing Hunt, 26, who was involved in a controversial clash with Chelsea keeper Petr Cech last season.
