Hungary coach Marco Rossi has clarified comments earlier this week about Fenerbahce defender Attila Szalai joining Chelsea.

Rossi declared a January move for the Hungary international was a "done deal".

But he told Fanatik yesterday: “I only said what I saw in the Hungarian press.

"There has been a lot of news about Chelsea. I have not received any official information about the team that Szalai will go to. I didn't talk to Attila about it either.

"It is normal for others to want him after his performance in Turkey. It is said that a big team from Spain is also interested in him."
