Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard knows he faces the prospect of facing Fulham in his comeback game.
He is expected to make his long-awaited Tigers return at his former club Fulham on October 19.
Bullard cost City a club record £5million when he joined from Fulham last January. And he said: "It would be funny if it turns out my first league game back is against Fulham.
"For me the most important factor will be that I am playing again and not who I'm back playing against.
"I am planning to have an outing for the reserves and it will just be good to go out there, get a bit of fitness back and get used to playing again."
